The Village of Fontana-on-Geneva Lake, WI, (Pop 1,754 winter, 8,000+ summer), is a vibrant resort community located along the west shore of Geneva Lake, WI.  The Village is a full-service community with Police, Fire and Public Works Departments along with sewer, water, parks and lakefront services, schools, library and is home to The Abbey Resort & Spa.


The Village is currently seeking a collaborative, strategic-thinking professional with strong leadership and economic development skills.  A record of visibility in the community, proven financial/analytical skills, the ability to work with government officials and department heads and human resources management skills are absolutely necessary.


Candidates must have a minimum of a BA in public or business administration or related field.  Five – seven years of increasingly responsible municipal government experience is required.  A Master's Degree in Public Administration or Business Administration is preferred. A strong combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. 


Candidates must possess demonstrated managerial, interpersonal, employee accountability and leadership skills to direct a talented Village team serving both full-time and active seasonal residents and guests as well as long-standing local businesses. Excellent salary and benefits package.

The Village of Fontana is looking to fill the position of Alternate Chief Election Inspector. The position requires that you are a qualified elector of the Village of Fontana, at least 18 years of age and a US Citizen. The Chief Election Inspector is responsible for managing the polling place and election inspectors on election day. They ensure proper procedures and laws are adhered to and oversee and/or assist with checking in voters, issuing ballots, assigning voter numbers and voter registrations. Chief Inspectors complete all documents, reconcile vote totals and resolve voter complaints and concerns. The Village of Fontana is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Election Inspector to work at the polling place on election days. This is a paid position.
