Job Posting: Community Service Officer

 

The Fontana Police Department is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as our Community Service Officer (CSO) for the 2022 summer season. The CSO performs various non-sworn duties including parking enforcement, traffic control, booking, squad maintenance, general office tasks, etc. This position can be combined with school internships. The CSO position is seasonal and generally operates from May-September. The position requires 30-40 hours of work per week. Weekends and holidays are required. Pay is $15.00-$19.00 per hour depending on qualifications.

  • Driver’s license
  • Good driving record
  • Good physical condition
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
  • No domestic abuse convictions
  • No felony convictions
  • Minimum Age
    • 18
