Community Service Officer

The Fontana Police Department is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as our Community Service Officer (CSO) for the 2022 summer season. The CSO performs various non-sworn duties including parking enforcement, traffic control, booking, squad maintenance, general office tasks, etc. This position can be combined with school internships. The CSO position is seasonal and generally operates from May-September. The position requires 30-40 hours of work per week. Weekends and holidays are required. Pay is $15.00-$19.00 per hour depending on qualifications.

Village Treasurer

The beautiful Village of Fontana-on-Geneva Lake, Walworth County, WI (Population: 1,717 full time, 6,000+ seasonal) is seeking experienced candidates that are enthusiastic about the municipal treasurer profession to work as part of its dynamic administrative team.

Responsibilities of the position include those listed in the Wisconsin State Stats. §61.26, payroll processing and maintenance of payroll records, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting functions, journal entries, annual audit preparation, development and performance analysis of the annual budget, tax preparation, maintenance of the government accounting system, and debt service analysis and bond payments. Other functions of the position include, but are not limited to, utility billing and payment collection, and providing excellent customer service to residents and the public.

The successful candidate shall have experience working in municipal government or a related field, certification as a Municipal Treasurer or ability to become certified within one year; a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business/public administration is preferred. The candidate must also possess excellent communication and computer skills, a strong interest in the public sector and customer service, have some experience with municipal clerk duties, and must perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
